My Geek Baby

I read somewhere that infants have the ability to hold their breath under water and kick their legs. So can they swim? Not really, but it probably looks like they can. As you can see, I didn”t take any chances with Indie this weekend when we visited my parents. Sunscreen, hat, swim shirt, turtle raft with shade. Yes, all of the above.

even though she was a bit cranky and drooling and cutting two teeth, it was Summer…ahh…Summer

Ask, “Which way to the pool?”

On this, Indie’s first July 4th celebration, she stayed away from the busy downtown fireworks extravaganza and opted for cook-outs and relaxation by the pool with the family.

But after getting her sea legs, she was exhausted and moved indoors to chill with dad.

Meanwhile, at the Nelson County parade, I learned that my nephew has thrown his hat in the ring. He’s running for president!
