Cherry Blossom Festival
Sunday, April 5th, 2009Although I’ve lived in the Washington, DC area for the better part of a decade, I haven’t walked in the tidal basin during the height of the Cherry Blossom Festival madness.
Taking the metro is the best way to get there.
The District was packed and the weather was sunny but unbelievably windy, however, it was totally worth it.
We managed to get away from the crush of the crowds.
Good times!
But exhausting
